Individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements on behalf of crime victims and victim's rights will be honored at the Pinellas County Victim Rights Coalition - Victim Rights Week Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Bayou Club. Among other, the PCVRC will present the following to Action Plus Bail Bonds' own Frank Kopczynski: Agency Recognition Award: Action Plus Bail Bonds Frank Kopczynski These honorees have demonstrated professional excellence, compassion, and dedication in working for the welfare of victims, improvement in victim services, and protection of victim rights. Rita Hall of the SAVE Program and Help-A-Child will be the Key Note Speaker. Member agencies will also be recognizing an officer, victim advocate or staff member who has made an outstanding contribution to helping crime victims in the past year. Did you know? Did you know If a police officer comes to your door, the first thing you should do is ask to see his warrant? Without a warrant, you are not required to give the officer the time of day, let alone allow him to explain the reasons for being at your door or heaven forbid, permit the officer to enter your home. If the officer does not have a warrant, dont slam the door, be abusive or yell. JUST SHUT THE DOOR. |
